DATE: August 10, 2000
FROM: NCA Executive Directors
TO: NCA President William Geng Duol

Your Excellency,

The Nasirian Community Association elected its new Executive Directors on December 27, 1999 in Nashville, TN to administering the community for period of two years. In this election, Mr. William Geng Duol as elected as the new President of Nasir Community Association, Sarah Nyachuol Yien as the Vice President of the Community with other cabinets. Moreover, when the team took its power, the whole community had impressed that these NCA executives would bring great changes into our Association. It would also aggrandize public understanding for what type of jobs that the community is needed for its success; and to establishing absolute peace through out all Nasirian Communities around the Globe.

Nevertheless, the community did not give chances to new Executive Directors to operate the community activities. As the matter of fact, after the Election Day, the power struggling between the NCA board of directors and Executive Directors had began. Therefore, the NCA Board of Directors led by Mr. Gatbel Nyak Chamjock froze the NCA Bank Account. Then the NCA investment policy had refrained in 2000 due to this griming misunderstanding between NCA Board of Directors and the Executives. As surprise to Community, the NCA Executive Directors did not respond positively in order to eradicate the problem.

Next, with in two months after the NCA Bank Account frozen, another severe matter had arisen among the Executives because the NCA President, William Geng was reluctant to share any decisions with his Cabinets. He went on to substitute those who were elected by NCA General Assembly with none-elected members within the community as the result, the NCA problems had germinated from bad to worse.

Continuously, another problem had been occurred between Lang Joining Hands and the NCA President, William Geng Duol. It happened when the NCA President Mr. Geng Duol had denied the endorsement of Lang Joining Hands (LJH) Unity in North America. Then, the Lang Joining Hands members had opposed Geng's leadership. They went on to gain more supports from Nyalith Community Members (NCM). As the result, the NCA situations began to be out of control.

In addition, the NCA Executives/Cabinets had blamed Mr. President, Geng Duol over the following points:

  1. Geng is isolated his Cabinets and running the community alone without any involvement activities from the Executives/Cabinets.
  2. He remained as the top decision maker on every situation.
  3. He misled his Office Executives about late arrival money from Minnesota and Calgary, Alberta that he had deposited it into NCA Bank Account, but he didn't.
  4. He misled his Office Executives that the letter written by the NCA Board of Directors to freeze NCA Bank Account was released. However, it was not true.
  5. He visited Canada twice without consent/knowledge from any Executive Director.
  6. He kept NCA late arrival funds in his home for seven months without making any deposited to NCA Account or without consent from NCA Secretary of finance, Mr. James Deng Chuol.
  7. He had appeared favoring some case problems in the community to be helped, and ignored others, for instant, the case problem of Mr. Lual Nguot Wife.
  8. He always sided with people who walked with him or lived with him; and rejected other community members especially Lang Joining Hands and Nyalith Community.

The NCA Executive Directors shall send the above Eight points to President, Mr. Geng Duol, and we are expecting him to send back a written reply of these eight points with clear explanations to NCA Executive Directors/Cabinets. Failure to do so, will result into different actions because the overall actions described in this letter, had annoyed the whole community.

As the NCA President, he should respect the truth, not to commit perjury to his people. Again, he had chosen special group in the Community and left his Office Executives a lone. To the public, these actions applied by NCA President Geng Duol are completely wrong for the welfare of Nasir Community Association; and the actions will completely disarray the whole Nasir Community unless Mr. President stopped them. In fact it's not a privilege at all for him to play such a dangerous policy among the NCA members that could sometimes bring disunity in the Community. For all these premature actions, the NCA President Mr. Geng Duol had totally disappointed the whole Community.

Sincerely,

Peter K. Gatkuoth
NCA General Secretary
