RE: Peace Must Come

We thanks our committees for their patient and understanding during the meeting

On October 25, 2003 in Lincoln, Nebraska and Sen Diego, California. On behave

Of all Nasir Youth Club leaders.

  1. Deng Kier Diet - Omaha, NE
  2. Kier Puk Yiech - Des Moines, IA
  3. Khan Chuol Bayek - Apple Valley, MN
  4. John Wiyual Majiok - Austin, MN
  5. Lam Chuol Jock - Nashville, TN
  6. Nyabel Gang Lual - Atlanta, GA
  7. Kim Gatwech Jal - Nashville, TN

They worked so hard to communicate with our peace committees during this very

Trying situation. We thank John Khak Banguot and Simon Gatkouth Wakoa from Sen

Diego, California and Samuel Wie Chuol and Daniel Gatluak Wal from Lincoln,

Nebraska for their very diligent and persistent peace.

Since our community split into two groups, we have been able to communicate by

Phone with virtual every affected cause. There are continues to be no

Indication that any cause related to Pal and Peter Koang Kouth. Different

Interests are the main reasons for the dispute and mistrust between two groups.

Both sides made mistakes from the beginning and we truly desire not to repeat

It in to our community future. We the Nasir Youth Club want to reassure you

Again that all of us in NCA to take this peace very seriously. We are fully

Committed to support peace and bring our wonderful community together. We

Cannot be one of Kuany-Lual-Thuon's great organization unless we become one

Community. It’s a tremendous opportunity. We want all NCA members to feel

Valued for their traits and to know they can fulfill their ambition and

Contribution to the success of the people of Kuany-Lual-Thuon. We want all NCA

Members to feel comfortable and enjoy being a part of Kuany-Lual-Thuon.

Unity represents the hope and dreams that have always been in our lives since

1996. we the Nasir Youth Club have decided that we will make our peace over

Negotiation table not over the phone and also supporting our elder's decision.

It's a time to forget ahead and not allow the wheel to turn back before peace

Hanging on a very thin rope. We thank elders Joshua Opal, Peter Lok Gatkouth

And Peter Lam Banguot for their big contribution and challenge in the

Negotiation of our community emotion issues such as unity. The most important

Of all, we have that no matter how complicated on issues may be, we the People

Of Kuany-Lual-Thuon can not turn away instead, we must welcome the challenge of

Shaping our community future responsibility of having to come as a one community.

We the Nasir Youth Club demand Pal Gatkouth and Peter Koang Gatkouth

To listen and respond to the wish of the people of Kuany-Lual-Thoun who

Elected them.

We reject solving our problem by taking any action that does not take both

Groups. We the people of Kuany-Lual-Thuon must unite our self together toward

Learning lessons from yesterday and looking for a brighter tomorrow.

We look forward to hearing from all of you. If you have any question email me

At k1chuol@yahoo.com

Sincerely

Khan Chuol Bayek, Secretary of Nasir Youth Club
