To all Nasir Community Association Members.

On August 31/003 in Omaha, Nebraska, we sat down and we had discussion a bout unity of the community. Many of you expressed their ideas for immediate solution to unite. The resolution was passed by participants to have one NCA. At the end of December/003, we purposed the meeting to be held on February 14 to 15/004 and members were asked for feed back. The proposals were posted by the information affairs and remained on the posted site, until today February 8/004 when the Elders Committee met, chaired by the V/chairman passed a resolution that they are going not to attend meeting, the reason is no enough preparation. What is no enough preparation while no body from the members came forward with the idea before today meeting and they did not schedule any future meeting?

I talked yesterday to some of the elders and this morning, agreed to go to the meeting before their decisions that we would not attend the meeting in Gallatin (Tennessee). All the NCA members are well prepared to attend the meeting and the office that coordinate could not come out that there was no enough preparation. I viewed the decision as pretext by the committee. Why today and you been having one and half month to prepare? This is the last chance for us (elders) to work on the unity. Other wise, there is potential evidences derailed NCA community to unite, because of some individual previous role in the first meeting, when they showed negative behaviors in front of the community members. That was the reflections of their backgrounds to the community. Yesterday, the Information Affairs put on web-site that meeting would go a head and at dressed to all the members’ not particular group.

To all of you (members of the Nasir Community Association, men, women, and youths) any one who is able to transport him/herself come and attend the meeting on February 14 & 15/004. To all of you, do you think we can afford another year not to unite our community? All of us we put Nasir FIRST and not leadership. ALL the ELDERS any one who want the meeting to be adjourned and not escape goat reason, please come to the Galatin and discuss how best we can unite our people and not by telephone communications. I considered the discussion not to go a head with meeting is contradicting to our role as neutral reconciliatory. We are not foes to one another, we are all Nasirian children and we love Nasir, our mother land. We sit down with our community and sort out our differences if at all there are, and we go from there to re-build back our trust, courage to service our people. We all know our back grounds. These back ground must not be the barriers to reconcile our community. It is not genuine reason not to come to meeting because NO ENOUGH PREPARATIONS. We have our AGENDA already in place and if there is any improvement of agenda, it has to be made at the meeting centre.

The meeting will go a head in respect of the mode and readiness of the members to attend the meeting. On February 13/004, there will be informal discussion with both sides. The community meeting will be February 14 and 15/004 respectively. And no two communities.
