The NCA Executive Report of 2003 Conference

Mr. Peter Kuang Gatkuoth
NCA Executive Director

DATE: July 5, 2003

Introduction:

Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to NCA Conference of 2003. I strongly believed that this year we would enjoy our wonderful conference, which is conducted in this beautiful new summer of 2003. The happiness and joy of good weather will embrace all our hearts and make this conference time to be possibly recognized by all NCA Members as a genuine NCA fiscal year.

Today, I am conveying my contentment to all NCA participants who attended this conference and devoted their times to shape our society's future. It has never been easy in any society for a nation to earn respect and dignity that may reassign responsibilities to the whole world. I t is always a struggle for any nation to be come successful. Once and for all, I am reminding you today for the situations we have been trapped in that we shall still take these challenging steps into our considerations by working toward peace and unity, and elevating our community into advancement level because the situations that we facing today are for sure the maximum prices for tomorrow bright future. Therefore; we shall keep forward fighting for whatever values we wanted to have in the world by setting NCA goals high above on every issue within our daily life.

In addition, I am very cheerful to serve you with in this obscure situation because it's our duty to accept to lead our people even if we are in terrible time. For instant, our NCA community is now bursting with tiny grime, which covered our eyes to see the true picture of NCA main objectives. If we could be strong today to keep NCA objectives alive, I certainly understood that we will reach our goals safely and tomorrow we will be the heroes of that land. However; in order to reach such destinations for our families, we have to use some rational important dexterities such as dignity, honesty, integrity that will in turn overwhelm our traits that refrained us to strengthen our unity.

The NCA Services:

Ladies and Gentlemen, your hard work was made it possible that the NCA Community has again owned these powerful documents such as Copy-Write and the NCA Website: www.nasircommunityassoction.net that will be in services for five years period (January 2003- January 2008).

The NCA Unity:

Today, many Nasirian Children have accepted peace and unity of NCA. Therefore; I am urging the NCA Incoming Administration to put more weight behind the NCA peace and unity for the sake of NCA Children. It doesn't matter how long it takes.

For your record, I had received the following letter from Nasir Joint Peace Initiative

To: Koang Gakuoth, Domach Gatkuoth,

Delegates and all fellows
Members of N.C.A

Dear fellow Brothers and Sisters,

Nasir Community has been in disarray due to contested of the Election in December 24, 2001. However, we had gone through all essential steps to resolve the Association's problems such as going to court, auditing the N.C.A account, and court ruling validating the contested election, but all these procedures came to complicate the solution of the problem. The severe and unbearable consequences ended up by divided our community into two groups.

Yet, it is fundamental that our being together as one body is a framework, skeleton, and enzyme that may digest and speed up our future progress to our homeland, Nasir. Our findings proved that, hatred, distrust, and individual's interests have contributed to our division. These eight committees were not appointed by either side to carry out this peace initiative, but our feeling and love for the unity of our people has compelled us to do this task.

We are demanding both sides to consider this issue of disintegration as a dangerous to our community in America and back home in Nasir, Sudan. We absolutely explored the matter and came up with a resolution, which would benefits both sides and our community in particular. We request your consent to respect this resolution, as it would be the only chance to bridge the gap that exists in our community. The peace committee consists of the following members:

To begin with, when we started this initiative, we have made telephone conversations with the two leaders and some witnesses. Some progress of opening doors for possibility of dialogue have been made during our telephone discussion. This dialogue could have opened a chance to solve this conflict earlier before it blare this far. This internal conflict seems to have deep rooted of retroactive inhibition beliefs between the both sides.

The category that deems necessary to bring our two sides together is to implement the mission statement of Nasir Community Association in Diaspora and back home. Our mission statement has been diverted by cynical greedy for personal interest; therefore, as a community, we must take back our association into its feet and proceed with our mission statement as usual.

Here are the proposals that the committee and the representative of both sides discussed and agreed to be forwarded to the leaders for the their responses: Both Joak Deng from the Peter Koang's side demanded Pal to step down and then Koang will step down as well. On the Pal's side. Kalech Thoat also demanded Koang with his entire administration be dissolved first; and as a result, Pal will step down, too.

The Joint Peace Committee concluded that instead of asking both leaders to dissolve their administrations separately, we demanded both of them to step down and leave the question of leadership to be discussed at the convention. Joint Peace Committee, Elders, and local chapter leaders would take the role and chair the convention during the convention until the community's problem is resolve.

Pal's delegates are as follow:

Respond Letter From Mr. Peter K. Gatkuoth to: Nasir Joint Peace Initiative

DATE: April 16, 2003

TO: Joint Peace Initiative Chairman

Subject: Nasir Peace Implementation Forum

Dear Mr. Gatluak T. Thach:

Many thanks and much respect to your board of Nasir Joint Peace Initiative Committee that formed itself in Nashville, TN to quell what I termed the "The Tough Test" for Nasir Community Association. It is really a tough test for us with only one solution that the Nasir Community Association must fail for its own visions to accomplish future developments or the Nasir Community Association must pass this tough test by rejecting senseless impulsive politics that wandering around between Nasirian people.

Since we are belonging to Nasir and Nasir is belonging to us, we have to knee down our feet voluntarily and defy the perilous circumstances that facing Nasir Community Association. This is a time for all good men in this community to calisthenics their visions of success in this atrocious occasion, and beyond next generations in our home land, Nasir. Therefore, I have appreciated your feelings that compelled you to act in that passion to bring our dear Nasirian Community Association together. In all, I have agreed with you to go forward fighting for NCA Unity until we achieved Peace. Do not despair for ongoing community activities still peace is never too late to NCA People. It is near now to our doors, but it requires every Nasirian Citizen to be altruistic if we really wanted to achieve a valid peace that accompanied by love and joy.

We also knew that this Nasirian problem has so many dimensions three of which are leadership itself, personal interests and detestation as you already mentioned in your December Paper. Nevertheless, the leadership of Nasir Community Association is rather used as resilient tool to protect the inner side sealing of self-interests by voracious individuals who wanted to pursue their personal gains beside societal benefits. Consequently, if we have continuously accepted these wrong concepts in our NCA Community, we will certainly bring permanent harms to our society unless otherwise we have applied some major justifications.

Amazingly, the two NCA rival sides had met on April 12, 2003 at San Diego, California discussed what is called "The Term of two NCA Leaders" that has called by Mr. Peter Koang Gatkuoth. Therefore, the session of two NCA Communities have so far agreed on the following points:

The Nasirian Peace and Unity must be restored.
There must be a Convention that has to be commenced shortly before May 30th, 2003.
In this Convention, the two sides have agreed to set up a New System that will not
favor Koang or Pal's leadership.

In order to endorse your Nasir Joint Peace Initiative, the nature of this Nasir Peace Implementation Forum that took place in San Diego, California has no difference from your peace initiative, and it has directly answered your letter that you sent to Pal and me. Now, the time is all right for you to re-activate what is called Nasir Joint Peace Initiative either by annexing your team with NCA Elderly Peace, or by operating alone and still seeking full supports from both NCA Communities.

Sincerely Yours,

Mr. Peter Koang Gatkuoth The NCA Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
