Speech of NCA President, Mr. Geng Geng Duol

I have pleasantly welcomed all Nasirian People who left their work behind, and drove Inter-State Highways in order to build up the brightness of this community for the benefit of our children. I also thank especially all State Representatives who collected money from the hands of all Nasirians. Again, I thank NCA Executives, Advisory Boards, Board of Directors, Elders, Women and Children for their extensive participation in this Community. I finally thank my wife, the first Lady, Mrs. Duol for her support in my leadership.

Mr. President said, at the time I was in Addis-Ababa, all Nasirians were living together with no differences. We supported ourselves in our education by sharing the little food we had. We did it because we love the community that we are still running today.

At the beginning of this NCA Organization in 1996, two Red Bulls were slaughtered. According to our tradition, Nasirian Elders “swear word” to bless our community in these Red Bulls’ blood. They mentioned that if any one among us will try to disunite these children, he/she will go the same way as the Red Bulls have gone. Brothers and Sisters, let us still remember our Elders’ words as the local commandments to us. In fact, this is not a unity of money alone, but also a unity of love. As the love united us to gather, we do not need again to teach our children with differences in the community. Finally, I ask particularly all Nasirian Church Leaders to pray God for our safety as their job titles recited. They are not suitable to encourage division among God’s children that they are leading. May God Bless you all.

Thank you very much,

NCA Secretary General
Mr. Peter Koang Gatkuoth
