Election Result

On Saturday May 02, 2009 the NCDS election took place at North West High School in Omaha Nebraska, the members of Nuer Community Development Service have traveled in a long distance from four regions in United States to come and attend the Nuer Election in Omaha Nebraska. It was a first time in United States that one thousand ninty one (1091) members have shown up during Election. The two candidates: Brown Both with black suit at left, and Khon Kueth with gray suit at right they both spoke before voting and after they finished to elucidate their Statements to the audiences, the all Nuer members start voting for three candidates Mr. Brown Both Bol, Mr. Khon Kueth Mar, and Tot Miak.

This credibility to Lt Gen. Paulino Matip to put this situation to an end on Saturday March 28, 2009 when he met with both Khon, and Brown teams in his house in Minnesota, because two elections which were conducted in Omaha Nebraska on Saturday December 27, 2008, and Saturday January 24, 2009 were resulted in a disputed. After meeting in Minnesota Lt Gen Nhial made a right choice to dissolved two leaders and urged them to go back to re- election, then Lt Gen Nhial was appointed Ezekiel Lol Gatkuoth on the picture below to supervise the election of 2nd of May 2009. And another great thankful to Chairman of Nuer Election Ezekiel Lol Gatkuoth, and four Electoral committees Tor Mach, Gatluak Deng, Kong Toang, and Jal Ngor.

It’s very interesting Election this year because it never happened for all these many years pass, 1091 members were in North West High School the place where Election was conducted, the moral was so high. We the Nuers in United States of America elected the new leader on Saturday May 02, 2009, and we also inform the world to congratulate the new chairman of Nuer Community Development Service U.S.A.
