Rev. James Kuajien Deng’s Trip to South Sudan in 2011

Rev. Rev: James Kuajien the chairman of Sudanese civil Society coordinated by Nebraska Sudanese Council of Churches was recently visited South Sudan and attend the historical celebration day of South Sudan Independent last July 9, 2011. And after Independent celebration, Rev James was on live on Television to represent the Sudanese Civil Society from Diaspora. Rev. James left from Juba to Upper Nile to visit his home town Nasir County, and he arrived in Nasir County on Thursday August the 04 th, he was warmly received by Nasir county administration including church leaders. When he spent few days in Nasir, he has arranged the date and the time to meet with Nasir county commissioner for interviewed on Thursday August the 12 th, 2011.
The interview was based on the Security issues both internal and external including Wanding Payam peace deal between Nasir and Akoba. Wanding Payam is a sub-district of Nasir County in Upper Nile.
Mr. Dak Tap Chol, the commissioner of Nasir County is doing the magnificent job domestically, and internationally, according to his interview on the audio link to listen (Voice from Commissioner of Nasir County). Nasir County commissioner is committed to provide good services to Nasir people through None Governmental Organization (NGOS) particularly USAID, and Aid Sudan, they did a marvelous job in Nasir County for development which started last year with two Radio Towers, successful Network, and Youth Center including computers with internet. Nasir County administration is taking another step to urge the Nasir citizens who live outside World mostly from Western World, they should raise fund for Development in their Payams and Bomas for establishment schools, clinics, small business, youth centers, and communications system if possible.
Nasir County Commissioner has reinstalled a good relationship between Nasir, and Akoba, he works day and night to bring peace stability in Eastern and Central Nuer because the previous social live many years ago need be restored between Nasirian and the other neighboring counties of Ulang, Maiwut, and Longechuk.

The governor interview was based on mobilization of all young youth who live in Diaspora. The governor has highlighted the very interesting points during his interview that young men and women who have good skill should come back home and do the best for their new born Nation South Sudan, particularly in the State of Upper Nile. The governor of Upper Nile was also mentioned that the all youth would be encouraged to continue their education and later they will come back home with profession skill they have got from where they are. Simon Kun Puoch was the only governor in Southern Sudan who gives a good opportunity to young South Sudanese educators to work in high position in the State level, and the counties level. The governor of Upper Nile was appreciated for giving an opportunity to young people of Upper Nile.
Rev James left from Upper Nile and return to Juba the capital city of South Sudan, and he was on live on Television (SSTV) for the second time on August the 26, 2011.
