The parliament members have an emergency session of Torkech incident on 09/may/2009 with the following outcomes:-

• We strongly rejected and condemned the atrocities committed by Lou Nuer at Torkech killing innocent Nassir citizens, women, old men, children, infants and animals without showing a mercy at all.
• We ask the government of Southern Sudan that is it a crime for us to give arms and so that we to be kill like what happened in Torkech incident????????? ……… as council members of Nassir County we strongly and seriously blaming the Government of Southern Sudan who disarmed Chiengnyalieth and not providing a protection to them from inhumanity acts of Lou Nuer. And why Lou Nuer are not disarmed so that the whole area shall live in peace???????!!!!.....
• And again we do blame the government of Akoba County of not stopping it citizens from attacking neighboring peoples as well as the state government of Jonglie.
• We ask Upper Nile State government for more armies to be deploying into border to keep away Lou Nuer from attacking innocent citizens of Nassir County.
• We ask state government(UNS),government of Southern Sudan(GOSS) and all international and indigenous organizations to interfere and save the disaster created by Lou Nuer during the rainy season to supply food ,shelters and non-food items to survivors and wounded people of Torkech which include women who lost their husbands, orphans including infants who lost their parents ,old people ,and those people totally depending on their cattle which were took by Lou Nuer of Jonglie state .

NB: - those who died about 71(seventy one persons) including women, children and old people.

Wounded peoples are about 53(fifty three) including children, women and old people some have severe wounds.

We are looking forward for positive response.

Report: some description from various places around Nasir and Ulang counties areas.

The killers were identified: Cie-thieng, and Cie bior from Jimach.

• The SPLM/A militaries were settled in Torkech for security reason. The order came from military Headquarter (Ketbek) that all militaries from Torkech must go to Ketbek in order to receive military ID Cards. And after receiving ID cards, they should returned back to Torkech in same day, but due to transportation delaying.

  The attackers have already received a message about military leaving from unknown sources which is not yet investigated by Nasir county government. The attackers have used a tactic to wearied military uniform and started to enter in the village at evening time, then they started open fire around 3: AM, and use to open the houses in separate locations in cattle camp (Torkech), when they entered into house they using a flash light in house and start shooting to kill all house members.

• They also attacked Yomding in Ulang County ten miles away from Nasir County after the Torkech incident and killed one person and one wounded.

• They killed 97 domestic animals: 60 cows, 20 Goats/sheep, and 17 dogs.

• In a past few months from the end of year 2008, four people were killed as the murder killing: 3 people were killed in a rural area, and one trader from Nasir was killed in Akoba town while he is eating food in the restaurant.

• After Torkech incident they killed one person in Bimjual near Liatwal Gaguang cattle camp.
