Nasir County Governmental visit Five Eastern Payams

Nasir County Government visit Eastern Payams is big influential entire Nasir County Payam. Nasir County commissioner Dak Tap Chuol with some County governmental departments; joint army task forces, Local authority, and Traditional leaders visited to south, and Eastern Payams of Nasir County on November 28, 2011 will bring a big change in Nasir County. They have been traveling to visit each Payam about 21 days, and the propose for visit the South, and Eastern Payams of Nasir County was a beginning of mobilization of all Payams to wake up and stand firm for peace, and unity with other neighboring counties which begin in the year 2012.

The insecurity issue internal and external entire Nasir County with the other counties is pretty significant since last year, and it must be maintained as the way it’s, but the Nasir commissioner has empathized that the violent mostly causes by raiders, and it usually happens in the beginning of the New Year.

The government staff officials from Nasir County including the commissioner have made a virtuous visit to five payams of Nasir County: Mading, Gurnyang, Maker, Jikmier on the South East of Nasir, and Kuetrengke on the South of Nasir County to watch behind and prevent major crisis may happen inside and outside communities. It’s a time for peace, and development, but it’s not a time for practice violent in Nasir County.

The county commissioner with the government staffs, and traditional leaders have spent few days in each payam. They have 15 days in Mading Payam to erase the conflicts between sub-communities in Mading, and Wacnyat and normalize the differences. And few days later, they continue their traveling to Gurnyang, and stayed there for two days to meet with community elders and youth.

The ending of meeting conference from Gurnyang Payam, they continue traveling to other Payams on the border of Ethiopia, and South Sudan: Maker, and Jikmier, they spent two days in Maker, and one day in Jikmier to encourage peace mobilization starting from grassroots community toward neighboring communities in South Sudan, and Ethiopia border.

Nasir county commissioner including governmental’ staffs have proceed to South of Nasir County Kuetrenge Payam 6 kilometer away from Nasir City. They have been there for one day and met with leaders of Kuetrengke Payam including elders to thrash out the way to move forward to development which may happen this year, and also they discussed a new live toward peace and unity in among all Nasir citizens should be begun this year in 2012.

The mission of the governmental staffs including County commissioner was ended over on December 02, 2012 and they returned to Nasir City safely to celebrate New Year in the Nasir City. It was a first time long days visit to five Payams since the county commissioner was appointed by State government of Upper Nile on July 20, 2010.
