South Sudan Computer Society has made shipping container which was arrived last july in Juba, and carrying more than 8,000 units of computer components and 4,800 books to Nasir to establish "Latjor Public Library, and "Computer Training Center" in Nasir, it will help the students. |
Mr. Tharjitath Kun Luoth was welcomed by Nyaang local chiefs and Dokhor Kun Thoal at Makeer (Gurnyang) Payam for his visit in 16 years since he left Makeer in 1991. The local population was excited and cheer to welcome him for his absent at Makeer in 16 years. He encourage all the payams constituencies to support Payams in our homeland. Tharjiath returned back to U.S., and he arrived safely in Omaha, Nebraska last weekend. |

Nasir Primary School boys are sitting in class room, including Math teacher Mr. Otong Koang Otong. Mr. Otong is from Wanding Payam, Nasir. This school was builded probably since1982 as a Junior High School Latjor, and now is Currently "Nyakuan/Marian Primary School", Nyakuan/Marian was a teacher under American Presbyterian Missionary since 1949-1964.
As you see this image above, the chairs, and desks which were damaged by Sudan civil war still uses by students, because there is no alternative for Nasir students to get better chairs, and desks, the government of South Sudan still young and it's two - three years old, there is nothing yet for the development of the Southern regions.
The clear message to you every Nasirian, if you understand this situation, you can contribute what you can financially to support our children education for any kind of school is need; chairs, desks, school uniforms as it mentioned on the upper right row, and others. |
