A reply to Samuel Wie's article

It is not my intention to wage war of words against anybody or group in Nasir Community or belittle anyone at all, under any circumstances. But sometimes people are compelled to defend themselves, whenever they are attacked for unknown reasons.
The puzzling question is: Who are really the architects of schism, disunity and dissensions in our beloved community? Are they the people who signed the peace and reconciliation accord or are they those who absolutely rejected to reconcile with their own brothers and sisters? This is a question that is left to Brother Sam to answer honestly.
Did Brother Sam leave his leaders in limbo when he appeared in the meeting of Nasir County? The answer is absolutely yes. It is a mere fact that Brother Sam and his defected group decided prior to the arrival of the commissioners in the United States that they would not attend the peace and reconciliation meeting, which was held in Lincoln, Nebraska, on December 23, 2006 under the auspices of Major-General Gathoth Gatkuoth Hothnyang met, the commissioner of Nasser County and Mr. Duer Tut Duer Makuach, the commissioner of Ulang County. However, they preferred to come to the counties’ meetings for reasons that are well known to them. Unfortunately, when the two commissioners announced that the ring leaders of those groups who intentionally decided to absent themselves from the Nasser Community peace and reconciliation conference, would not be permitted to attend the counties’ meetings, Brother Sam and others prominent members from his camp rushed to storm and crowd the meeting halls where the commissioners briefed the members of their constituencies on recent administrative structures and development programs in their counties, and leaving their leaders in limbo. This is another political earthquake that swept the bases of the minority camps. The most subtle question is how the followers and supporters can go to the meeting in which their leaders are prohibited to attend? According to the conventional wisdom, those folks would be either perceived as outlaws or traitors by their own leaders.
Brother Sam wrote that and I quoted “Peace Initiative without principle of Declaration.” I do not really comprehend what Brother Sam mean by that phrase. I guess probably he means that the peace and reconciliation accord that was facilitated by the two commissioners and later signed by peace lovers in Nasser and Ulang Counties is baseless and dishonorable in its theme and contents. This is frankly a wishful thinking from Brother Sam who has been an alleged architect of peace and unity in Nasir community for many years to write that phrase on the web. Brother Sam was and still is an advocate for the so-called Nasir Institute of College as they called it. Therefore, I guess Brother Sam stand for peace, unity, and genuine development in both counties, but not for dumping the funds we have been contributing for many years on unrealistic project.
Brother Sam also wrote that the main cause of the split in Nasir Community in 2001 into two factions was the lack of recognition of Gaguang section as a part and parcel of Nasir community by the people he failed to specify in his article. This is another surprising move from a man who has been the mentor of the unionists for the last six years. As matter of fact, Gaguang do not need recognition from anybody in Nasir Community because they are part and parcel of Nasir Community. Those who are struggling for the recognition of Gaguang in Nasir community are the same folks are the same folks who think that Gaguang are their political satellite. No one would be an advocate for Gaguang in Nasir community because they have a very strong and unwavering conviction that they are historically a part of Nasir community; however, their kinship with Gajiok would not be traced by anybody, but Gaguang themselves.
Brother Sam also wrote that some groups did not participate in the peace and reconciliation meeting that was held in Lincoln, Nebraska, on December 23, 2006 under auspices of the two Commissioners because the Commissioners took side in the Nasir conflict before they arrived here in the United States and therefore they failed to accomplish their mission. This is another misleading and miscalculating deception which may have immoral and severe social consequences. The fact is that the leaders of Brother Sam did in fact meet with Commissioners and they assured the commissioners that they would not be participants in the meeting, alleging that the commissioners were invited by those they misconceived as their rivals in Nasir community. So Brother Sam allegations are absolutely immature and illusive. In reality, the commissioners did accomplish their mission. They helped sons and daughters of Nasir and Ulang counties sign the historical peace and reconciliation accord on the same day. So, Brother Sam and his allies in the defected NCDF would soon acknowledge the unity of peace lovers in Nasir community. The time is running out for them to join the unity of purposes, visions, and principles in new Duany Union.
Brother Sam also wrote that the commissioners were prevented by their relatives to greet people they served in their counties. One is really confused what is ringing in Brother Sam’s mind about the Commissioners. I personally know that those who were given chance to ask questions and expressed their opinions in the Nasir county meeting were from Sam’s Camp and his relatives. Therefore, in my opinion, Sam’s allegations are groundless and naïve.
Brother Sam alleged that the peace, unity, and reconciliation accord that was facilitated by the commissioners is faked. This is frankly untrue. If Brother Sam and his allies are peace lovers, what prevented them to join the line of unity of sons and daughters of Nasir and Ulang counties? As matter of fact, those who are destroying our beloved community do not want their malicious deeds to be unfolded in the daylight. The illusionists who desperately want to usurp all people’s funds to achieve their own ambitions must be reminded that people will never spare them unaccountable before the court of law. The architects of disunity and dissensions are now experiencing imminent and alarming social isolation and defeat. Therefore, we urge them to make a quick U-turn before things run out of their control.
Thanks
