Response to NCDF's Claims
Refuting NCDF’s claim on Nasir Community Conference Resolution with Due to respect, NCA wishes your organization happy holidays. In 12/30/06 statement posted on your website NCDF under Jenup Buom alleged that
“The NCA Nebraska Corporation under Khor Tot has invited the two commissioners from Africa in order to divide the NCDF funds between the two commissioners for their own development programs, rather than the goals and the objectives of the NCDF.”
Your so-called foundation is known for faulty claims and is reputable for misrepresentation of facts. Truly speaking, NCA did not invite our commissioners from Sudan to “divide NCDF fund between the two commissioners” as you claimed. Not only that none of your claims is backed up by solid evident, there seems to be a great deal of desperation within your foundation after you have decided to show the agency’s true color to our commissioners. NCA believes that not many among the unity loving people of Nasir and Ulang counties will buy your claims. Even more important, the people of both counties have realized the benefits of collective endeavors and shown great desire for unity and reconciliation-that is why Duany Union is by far the best answer to our long year quest for Unity.
As mentioned by Daniel Gatluak Wal in his article posted 01/02/07 on NCA website, we are moving to an era where power is decentralized in ways that give people more control over their own affairs. A decentralized power will also guarantee equitable sharing of our resources in a way we have never witnessed before. Decisions related to potential projects in which NCA may take part will now rest in the hands of the people of both counties and not just in the hands of a select group of individuals as is the case with Nasir community Institute.
NCA did not defect from your foundation as you alleged; it was your foundation that deserted the association. NCA is a name that we all came up with when the association was founded in 1996. Your allegation that NCA “defected from the community” is not well established and does not merit any consideration what so ever.
We call upon your foundation to embrace Duany Union. The Union is our gateway to a more structured; people based approach to development in our two counties. Duany Union is the only organization that would receive more credibility, prestige and accreditations to freely operate in all areas under the jurisdiction of the county of Ulang and Nasir. Duany Union is a non-profit, non-governmental organization endorsed by the commissioners of Ulang and Nasir counties and welcomed by the majority of the people of both counties at home and in Diaspora. Please welcome aboard!
